Get Ready to Rock the Boat aboard the Cape May – Lewes Ferry

Cape May, NJ- Boatloads of great live music! Get ready to “Rock the Boat!” this summer aboard the Cape May – Lewes Ferry! Put your dancing shoes on and rock on as the ferry takes the party off dry land with their “Rock the Boat!” cruises this summer. The ferry’s “Rock the Boat!” cruises take place every Friday from July 7, 2017 through August 25, 2017.

“We are very excited to be able to offer our special “Rock the Boat” cruises again this summer”, says Jennifer Shivers, assistant director of operations for the Cape May – Lewes Ferry. “Summer is the time to let loose, try new things, and have fun. What better way to get your groove on than on a beautiful cruise along the Delaware Bay, where you dance the night away with family and friends.”

Aboard the 6:00 p.m. departure from the Cape May Terminal, New Jersey foot passengers will be accompanied by the fresh sounds of MOE FISHBONE, ONE HOT MESS, JUMPER or TWELVE:01. The cruise returns to the Cape May terminal docks at approximately 9:00 p.m.

Cape May Rock the Boat
Moe Fishbone - July 7 and August 11 (6:00 p.m. departure / 7:45 p.m. return)
The South Jersey party band, Moe Fishbone started as a group of electronic technicians working the graveyard shift at the Post Office. The group has a wide range of not only rock hits, but also pop and party songs.

One Hot Mess - July 14 and August 18: (6:00 p.m. departure / 7:45 p.m. return)
One Hot Mess is a rock/party band that covers hits from rock, pop, dance and Motown. Led by the soulful voice of Andrea Yuhas, One Hot Mess always delivers sets you can’t help but sing along to.

Jumper - July 21 and August 4 (6:00 p.m. departure / 7:45 p.m. return)
The five man band Jumper promises to have concert goers jumping to their feet with their upbeat performances. Winners of VH1’s Cover Wars, Jumper provides a diverse set list that includes hits from different genres and decades.

Twelve:01 - July 28 and August 25 (6:00 p.m. departure / 7:45 p.m. return)
Performing together for over 20 years, Cape May locals Twelve:01 continue to cultivate their distinct sound. Twelve:01 play original acoustic pop/rock music that promise a unique listening experience. For more information:

For Delaware foot passengers, the ferry will depart from the Lewes Terminal at 5:15 p.m. with the great music of GLASS ONION for you to enjoy. The cruise will return to the Lewes terminal dock at approximately 8:15 p.m. Glass Onion, Delaware’s premier rock and roll party band, plays rock and roll dance music at places throughout Delaware, Pennsylvania and Maryland.

“Rock the Boat” roundtrip tickets cost $18.00 for adults, $9.00 for children 6-13 years old, and children 5 years old or less are free. Round trip foot passenger tickets include passage and entertainment. Food and drinks are available for purchase, but passengers may also bring food on board excluding alcohol.
