DRBA to Participate in Route 9 Library Community Career Fair

NEW CASTLE, Del. – In conjunction with the New Castle County Route 9 Library and Innovation Center, the Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA) will host a Community Career Fair to be held at the library complex, located at 3022 New Castle Ave in New Castle, Delaware.  The career fair will take place on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The event will feature recruiting managers and personnel from DRBA’s Maintenance, Police, Ferry and Tolls departments who are available to meet with potential applicants regarding career opportunities at all DRBA facilities.  This will include both full-time and part-time jobs.

“The Authority has multiple job openings in a variety of career fields and is actively seeking to fill them,” said Rosa Booker, HR Recruiting Specialist at DRBA.  “Hiring managers from various departments will be on hand to help prospective applicants through the process.  Even if you do not have a resume, you can create an account and fill out an application at the event.  If you’re looking for a job or know of someone who is, I’d encourage you to join us on the 29th.”

The library will allow applicants free access to computers at the facility, giving those who are interested the ability to apply online while at the event. As part of the event, a relief drive will also be held for Turkish and Syrian citizens devastated by the recent earthquakes.  For individuals who would like to donate, a receptacle will be placed on-site to accept clothing like socks, hats, sweaters, and gloves (only new items will be accepted.)
